Computer Guided Implant Surgery
This method of surgery allows for the use of a ‘guide’ that reproduces the virtual position of an implant on the computer and translates this into the mouth. This method greatly reduces the error associated with implant placement and allows for a dry run of your surgery pre-emptively on the computer.
Computer-guided implant placement has similar success rates compared to that of traditionally placed implants. The deviations associated with this form of surgery are minimal and generally in the range of less than 1mm. Thus, the accuracy is superior to that of free hand placement (ITI consensus report, 2018). Computer-guided surgery reduces the treatment time in the chair
Our technology starting from a thorough examination, obtaining three-dimensional X-rays (CBCT) and digital impressions set the stage for prosthetically placed implants.
